Description
Fading Legions uses the Rome at War game system to
bring you the twilight of the Roman Empire. To the east, the
Prussian Empire is beginning to make its presence felt. To
the north, barbarians are pushing on the boarders.
Double sized counters use the traditional combat
strength and movement rate format. The three boards are
geomorphic, allowing for scores of different playing areas.
Eleven scenarios covering the twilight of the Roman Empire are included, including two for Andrianople
(August, 378). The first is the historical battle, where an
impatient Roman commander decided to give battle. The other
is an alternate history version of the battle, allowing the Romans
additional forces that were en route at the time.
