Description
March on Leningrad
is a Panzer Grenadier system
supplement that highlights the German advance on the cradle of the
revolution, Leningrad. Desperate to save the historic city,
Russian forces established barrier after barrier that, just as often,
the Germans overran. By August, the city was isolated, but
not taken and a 900 day siege began.
Panzer Grenadier is
an award winning game system
that covers tactical
warfare in World War II. Each unit represents a platoon of infantry,
weapons or
vehicles. Each hexagon represents 200 meters of terrain. Each turn
represents 15 minutes of time. PG features an interactive turn system,
so a player
may not get to do everything he wants to do before his opponent gets to
counter move.
The Panzer
Grenadier system is vast, with many
modules available. Each
module focuses on a particular theme and provide counters, maps and
scenarios
to play. There are two types of modules, the core games and the
supplements. Core games are complete by themselves, with everything
needed to play.
Supplements expand on the core modules, bringing new scenarios and unit
types to
the game, but require one or more core module to play.
March on Leningrad
is not a complete by itself.
Ownership
of Eastern Front, Road to Berlin, Red Warriors and Sinister Forces is
required to play.
