Description

Great Pacific War brings the Third Reich game, one of the most well known wargames ever published, to Japan.  Players control all the strategic resources of the major powers, and players must use them wisely in order to win.  Fleets and armies fight over nearly a third of the world's surface for dominance in Asia, Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean.  Diplomacy can be as valuable a weapon as any military force.

The campaign begins with Japan being bogged down in China.  Historically, Japan signed a peace treaty with Russia and made a desperate bid to seize the riches in the Indies.  The Japanese player can repeat history, or he can maintain the peace and chose another victim.

There are seven scenarios, and a campaign game that covers the whole struggle, from the invasion of China to the fall of Tokyo. The game can be combined with Third Reich to cover the war in its entirety.
