Description

Bobby Lee covers four years of warfare in Virginia and neighboring states, focusing on the 100 miles between the two capitals.  Each player controls units on wooden blocks.  The sides of the block have different number of dots, representing the remaining strength of the unit.  As the unit takes damage, the block is rotated so the new, weaker number is on top.

In order to create a fog of war, unit blocks are stood up with the backs facing the opponent.  In this manner the opponent not tell the type or the strength of the units being deployed against him until battle begins.

The game comes with four small scenarios, each portraying a year from 1861 to 1864.  There is a campaign game that covers the entire western theater, plus the game can be linked with Sam Grant to cover the entire war!
