Phil Eklund has turned his love of evolution into exciting and educational games. In the Insecta series, each player represents a bug in a hive that has the ability to mutate. How they mutate is determined by cards that are drawn. As the bugs grow in power, they face each other in arena type combat.
There are two expansion games, Rainforest and Trilobite. In Rainforest, players move out of the arena and take on hive challenges. New dangers and powers are provided to survive in the harsh jungle. Trilobite takes players back to the very beginning of life on earth with underwater challenges that last millions of years.
Phil is also the creator of American Megafauna and the Lords games.
