John Prados' Third Reich
Third Reich has been perhaps the most successful strategic game in history. Selling over a quarter million copies and sold through three different publishers, the Avalanche Press version adds streamlines the game while keeping all the excitement the game is famous for.
Players not only control the land, sea and air forces of the major powers and their allies, but the economic and political decisions that ultimately determine the outcome of the war.
The game's success has spawned Great Pacific War, which can be played concurrently with Third Reich or as a stand alone game. A player's aid that covers both games includes strategies, alternate rules, new technologies and additional playing pieces. Finally, the Deluxe Map can be used with Third Reich to eliminate tricky stacking of pieces, plus it has critical information printed right on the map.
